The Advanced Biofuels and Bioproducts Unit from CIEMAT continues its work optimizing the transformation of cellulosic rejections from Municipal Solid Waste into bioethanol as part of WaysTUP! Perseo Bioethanol ® Pilot case.
We are working hard in collaboration with IMECAL to find the best treatment option for the bio-waste provided by Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona, developing physical, chemical and biological processes that will be implemented at the PERSEO Bioethanol® semi-industrial plant.
