2022 International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste

Today we celebrate the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste!

WaysTUP! is working towards the valorisation of food waste and the minimisation of food loss!

Meat by-products, spent coffee grounds, source separated biowaste and used cooking oils are transformed into high value bio-based products like food and feed additives, flavours, insect protein, coffee oil, bio-ethanol, bio-solvents, bio-plastics and others.

Less food will be utilised by the biobased industry by employing the WaysTUP! solutions in the production of alternative bioproducts, whilst food waste will be considered a valuable biomass resource.
